File Commands

Each file row includes actions for previewing a PDF, opening it in the full viewer, moving it into another folder, or deleting it from the workbook. These commands let you manage the document library without leaving Excel.

How It Works​

  1. Open the row action menu for a file in the File Manager grid.
  2. Choose Preview for a quick look or Open in Viewer for the full PDF workspace.
  3. Use Move to reorganize files or Delete to permanently remove the file from the workbook.

What To Keep In Mind​

  • Delete is permanent for that workbook and also clears annotations tied to the deleted file.
  • Open in Viewer is the handoff into annotation, reference, and extraction work.
