Draw Rectangle

The rectangle tool highlights a region on the page. It is the base shape for review markups and also the geometry used behind text and table reference extraction workflows.

How It Works​

  1. Open a PDF in the viewer.
  2. Choose the rectangle tool, then drag a region by clicking once to start and once to finish.
  3. Adjust your review workflow by adding a comment or linking the region to a group.

What To Keep In Mind​

  • Rectangles can be pure annotations or the starting point for text and table extraction.
  • Selecting a rectangle can also select its linked named range when that annotation was used as a reference.
